Since the project’s official announcement, Paperback, especially our very own Brandon Baird, has been busy schmoozing it up with a bunch of media outlets, with more interviews to come. It seems like people are pretty excited about the idea of cutting the costs of university textbooks and making some extra money by selling their old ones.
So far, Brandon has spoken with The Telegram, been interviewed on OZFM, been featured live on NTV, and has been interview by The Muse, Memorial University’s campus newspaper. Here at Paperback, we’re pretty happy about all of this coverage.
Launching a new product of any kind is always a struggle because no one knows who you are. You have to not only get yourself in front of clients, but give them something to sink their teeth into as well. We’re hoping all this media attention, the launch of our fully-functional website (that’s right: you can now buy and sell books directly from the website), and the impending launch of the app will drum up some conversations and, hopefully, some transactions.
Stay tuned for the launch of the app and stay in touch by signing up for our mailing list. You and your wallet won’t regret it.
Fill out the form below and you'll be notified when the app launches in the App Store and the Play Store.
